Hier, la <strong>profusion des d\u00e9corations <\/strong>fun\u00e9raires t\u00e9moignaient du <strong>culte des morts<\/strong>, \u00e0 son apog\u00e9e au XIXe si\u00e8cle.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b><i>L\u2019usine du deuil (1830-1930) : la mort entre art et industrie<\/i>&nbsp;<\/b>est une exposition commissari\u00e9e par deux chercheuses Lelya Jacquemin \u2014 sp\u00e9cialiste de la mode de deuil \u2014 et Mariette Boudgourd \u2014 sp\u00e9cialiste de la c\u00e9ramique artistique au XIXe si\u00e8cle \u2014.<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'expression \u00ab l'usine du deuil \u00bb est utilis\u00e9e en <strong>1903 <\/strong>comme titre par&nbsp;<strong>Henry de Forge<\/strong> pour un article consacr\u00e9 au b\u00e2timent des pompes fun\u00e8bres de Paris (<a href=\"https:\/\/pireh.univ-paris1.fr\/patrimoine\/2023-2024\/GPC\/G6\/exhibits\/show\/synopsis-l-usine-du-deuil\/r--f--rences\">1<\/a>).&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cette exposition r\u00e9pond non seulement au devoir de m\u00e9moire, mais aussi au <strong>d\u00e9sir de sauvegarde d\u2019un patrimoine<\/strong> sur lequel le regard doit changer. \u00c0 la lisi\u00e8re entre le<strong> patrimoine public<\/strong> et la <strong>m\u00e9moire intime<\/strong>, cette exposition r\u00e9unit une collection d\u2019objets t\u00e9moins d\u2019un go\u00fbt particulier, de pratiques et de rites familiers.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Voici la premi\u00e8re exposition enti\u00e8rement consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 l'industrie du deuil \u00e0 l'\u00e9poque contemporaine, \u00e0 travers plusieurs <strong>savoir-faire<\/strong> et une <strong>collection d'objets d'art insolites r\u00e9unis<\/strong> pour la premi\u00e8re fois.
