Il s'agit d'une photographie rectangulaire, représentant une jeune femme vêtue et coiffée à la mode du début du XXème siècle. Elle porte un chemisier blanc à motifs en dentelle, des petites lunettes rondes et un long collier à pendentif. Elle est assise sur une chaise blanche avec un bras sur l'accoudoir et une main sur la cuisse. Son regard est tourné vers la droite. La photo est bordée d'un cadre rectangulaire recouvert de velours beige. Ce même cadre est entouré d'une frise de deux rangées de petites boucles en perles roses. Le tout, photo et encadrement, est placé sous un globe en verre, transparent et incolore, et repose sur une plaque de métal blanc, ovale, s'ouvrant avec une petite porte à charnière, soudée en position fermée. Cet élément central est entouré de toute une composition d'ornements en perles de rocaille : bordure formée de différents motifs géométriques (spirales, chevrons et croisillons). Ces motifs sont réalisés en fils de fer pliés et recouverts de torsades de perles blanches. D'autres éléments décoratifs, en perles, viennent se positionner sur cette bordure. La base du globe en verre est entourée de petites paquerettes blanches à pétales remontés vers un coeur jaune. On trouve ensuite, un peu plus vers l'extérieur de la bordure, sur le côté gauche, une branche de feuilles, ovales, disposées en rameaux, en perles vertes claires, translucides. Sur le côté droit, au milieu, on trouve un gros noeud réalisé dans une fine tôle de métal blanc et recouvert de petites perles roses. Encore plus sur l'extérieur, sur le côté gauche uniquement, on trouve des fleurs de paquerette. L'ensemble de cette couronne mortuaire est fixé sur un pied imitant un pied de chevalet. Il est réalisé en fils de fer recouvert de perles blanches.</text>
