Visage prolongé à la partie inférieure par une forme rectangulaire et à la partie supérieure trois excroissances, dont celle du milieu est plus importante et plus haute, figurant la crinière du lion et ses deux oreilles. De cette excroissance centrale part une arête en relief figurant le nez qui se termine à la base en ancre, et de part et d'autre de laquelle se situent les cavités triangulaires, pointes vers le bas, des yeux. Une longue fente verticale traverse toute la partie droite du visage. Le masque semble imiter une cagoule. La partie qui prolonge le bas du visage représenterait de longs poils tombant sur la poitrine de l'animal et rappellerait le couvre-bouche des cagoules de fibres.</text>
